Born to be Wild

I dunno,  for some reason when I rode with the Hell's Angels, I didn't quite get the respect I was hoping for.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Couldn't be shorter, couldn't be sweeter and like a true nature's child, I brought her in at 22 words, meaning I've got 78 words credit on a verbose post in the near future.
Did you know I was  Born, Born to be Wild?
Neither did I.
Fire all of your guns at once and explode into spaaaaaaace. Brevity is the soul of wit. Nice one Perry. Much in few words.
Rochelle
heading down the highway.... succinct and I loved the 'brought her in at 22 words' :-)
Once you've said all that needs to be said, you stop. You did and you did. Since Rochelle already stole "brevity is the soul of wit", I'll stop also.
How fun! It fits the photo so well.
You fooled me, Perry. All this time I thought you were Born to be Mild.
Is that you, Rodney Dangerfield?
short, sweet, and to the point.
A very excellent one-liner. I didn't know we were allowed to accrue words...I might do the same next week.
Ever the accountant hey Perry? Paucity of words, wealth of humour!
Yes, my soul is very brev this week! Thanks, Rochelle.
I had to bring her in quickly with 50 Hell's Angels chasing me off the road! Help!
Perry Block said...
I wish I could stop. Jane, stop this crazy thing!
Perry Block said...
Yes, of course the photo doesn't clearly show the image of my true souped-up Harley with the chicks on the back! I guess the camera adds ten pounds and removes chicks and soup-ups ...
As Ivory Snow. But SHHHHHHH!!!
Wasn't that Born, Born to be alive? :)
That's some serious heavy metal thunder, brother. Loved it.
Perry Block said...
Thanks, but the going wasn't really all that good atop this contraption!
Perry Block said...
Compared to me, the late Mr. Dangerfield was treated like Walter Cronkite!
Perry Block said...
Thanks! Let's you and me "head out on the highway looking for adventure!" After I take my allergy medicine and have a nap and watch "The View."
Perry Block said...
Yeah, a skull and crossbones right on my forehead! And then I have to go off for a while and work on my term paper on the poetry of Keats ...
Hi Perry
You're a very funny man! I'll be watching over the coming weeks to see what you do with those 78 words you've stashed away!
Perry Block said...
I was first, but my book sucked.
Perry Block said...
I don't know if it fits the ground rules, but I'm doing it until Rochelle yells foul.
Perry Block said...
Thanks, Sandra, but it's mostly a paucity of wealth in my life.
Perry Block said...
Nah, I like the Steppenwolf song better even though the lyrics are a bit of a stretch for me!
Perry Block said...
Vroom-VROOM-VRRROOOOOMMMM!!!!
oh, crap, I'm carsick ...
Perry Block said...
Expect much gratuitous sex and violence in the next post!
Brilliant ... utterly brilliant :-D
I think you'd get all the respect, riding around in a thing like that, although it might have trouble keeping up on the highway. :)
Perry Block said...
That's what I kept saying to the Hell's Angels while they were beating the be-jesus out of me...
Perry Block said...
That's the problem. It had most of the trouble getting me out of the driveway. Thanks for writing!
I think that is a near universal reaction to this prompt!
Perry Block said...
Yep, it was near universal for me too ...
