Thanks for writing, although boy! ar...Hi, Michele,

Thanks for writing, although boy! are you confused. You are twenty years my junior, not twenty years my senior! If you were 20 years my senior, you would be pushing 80 years old and still wouldn't date me, although you might give it a passing thought on slow weekends when the checker board is down.

Your compliments on my writing are gratifying, but totally undercut by your comment "I dread being a geezer." First of all, I can call myself a "geezer," but it's "Mr. Geezer" to you! Secondly, does my existence actually look so empty and purposeless as to cause any right-thinking person to recoil in disgust and horror?! It does? Well, Good!!! Another compliment on my writing!

I have to admit I have not yet looked at your blog, but as with the blogs of all my adoring fans, it goes right to the top of my list. That is to say, it's about all I have to do for the next six months. And congratulations on the publishing of your novel! Umm, do you think your publisher may be interested in NOFC (Nouveau Old, Formerly Cute) Lit? I work cheap!

Thanks again for your kind words. Have a great Ides of March, St. Patrick's Day, and rest of the week should you make it past both of those days.

PerryPerry Blockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13439590071776264237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4892510436199255267.post-24144404267046078032010-03-15T09:19:45.885-04:002010-03-15T09:19:45.885-04:00From someone twenty years your senior, I didn'...From someone twenty years your senior, I didn't expect to live past 30. I love your blog and your tweets. I had a good laugh. It's funny how at 39, I have more friends in their fifties than I do in their thirties. My best friend is a mere 29. (She has an old soul.) I hope you'll check out my blog, http://micheleyoung-stone.blogspot.com My debut novel is being published in 28 days (I'm doing the Countdown to Publication thing.) And thanks for following me on twitter. I dread being a geezer, but if I have your sense of humor, it won't be half bad.Michele Young-Stonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08951960023052093900noreply@blogger.com
